Would You Like To Go With Me?

So, Zoobong have just released an upgraded version of their Ocean Skin. And what do you do if you’re wearing a skin called Ocean? Well, in my tiny, twisted little mind you pull on a wetsuit and go surfing. Kind of an obvious link to make,  but at least I didn’t cover myself in seaweed and wear a fish for a hat.

Anyway, the skin is currently available in two skin tones with blonde and brown hair bases included.

And by the way, falling out of your skybox while trying to surf and flinging the board off into your neighbours plot is not advised. I’m speaking from experience here….

Still on vacation?

After several weeks of traveling, then coming home and then taking off again..I can’t seem to get back into the groove. I don’t know if it is the heat or just general laziness but it is a struggle to get motivated.  I have been logging in but not spending much time. So, I decided to jump back in and do a post or two and see if that doesn’t do the trick. Maybe part of the problem is that when I log in there are so many great new things that it is hard to catch up. All I want to do is shop—oh well, what’s new? I have a theory that one week in sl is like a four in rl….so if you are gone for two months, it is really more like 8 months..and a lot can happen in 8 months.

These are some pictures I took a few weeks ago and the items that make up the outfit aren’t really new releases now.  But I like the outfit and thought I would share. I absolutely love the big braid from Truth and modded it a bit to fit under one of my favorite hats from Lelutka. This hat was released last year but it comes in so many gorgeous colors that it is a summer must-have. The Zaara jewelry is amazing(<3 Zaara Kohime)…it really goes with so many things. I think here it adds a needed bit more color to the whole look. The jacket is from Maitreya and is worn over a jumpsuit from Doppleganger (great fabric and simple design). There is always two sides to a story. Good and bad go together, nothing is just good or just bad. Somehow everything is in balance. Alienbear Gupte creates fabulous pieces of jewelry in SL. I’m wearing the brand new set “Mimmi” or well at least a part of it. There are so many options for each part that I could not use them all in just one post.

But where there’s happiness, sadness isn’t far. I was shocked about the news that Digit Darkes has left SL. We once were close as far it’s possible between computer screens, all I hope is that she is well and finds her luck elsewhere. But her wonderful creations will be missed most definitely. Surprisingly i could enable my shadows on Emerald beta! no other viewer allowed me to do that and i read on foruns and also many ppl told me shadows could be enabled only if you had a ge force 9800 or up and mine is kinda old a ge force 8600 gt!! i tried it again today by curiosity bc Lilie said on her plurk she could see the shadows and her graphic cards is the same as mine O.o..so if you wanna try to enable shadows, try on emerald, cos it wont work on any other, trust me, i tried lots of time! lol BUT there are some bad things…as you have to set the graphics to ultra on preferences, the performace becomes super slow, if youare wearing alpha layer it wont load and you wont be able to take any snapshot! lol only screenshot or and there is the anoying sharp edges too..so it is up to you giving a try! emerald beta link is here, the last one to upload 2439 version here: http://blog.modularsystems.sl/  obviously this picture were heavily photoshoped i can’t help, it feels like i am doing wrong w/o ps! lol hope you enjoy!
